Job Description

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field
- Active LSW or LCSW license
- Prior experience working in a school setting is required
- Background providing services to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Student Support Team by overseeing counselor caseloads, ensuring compliance with special education requirements, and championing delivery of effective counseling services.
- Coordinate Tier III interventions for students by collaborating with interdisciplinary school teams, acting as the McKinney-Vento liaison, and creating partnerships with local community agencies.
- Deliver individual and small group counseling while developing and implementing targeted interventions to address various social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Foster strong, professional relationships with staff, students, and families in order to best support each child’s educational experience.
