Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field
• Active LSW or LCSW license
• Prior experience working in a school setting is required
• Background providing services to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the Student Support Team by overseeing counselor caseloads, ensuring compliance with special education requirements, and championing delivery of effective counseling services.
• Coordinate Tier III interventions for students by collaborating with interdisciplinary school teams, acting as the McKinney-Vento liaison, and creating partnerships with local community agencies.
• Deliver individual and small group counseling while developing and implementing targeted interventions to address various social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Foster strong, professional relationships with staff, students, and families in order to best support each child’s educational experience.
