Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant in an on-site setting near Weatherford, Texas. You'll play an important role helping students develop communication skills and achieve educational success during the school year. This full-time role spans from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with up to 37.5 hours per week, likely dedicated to one school site (final location confirmation pending). Expect a dynamic caseload of approximately 60-65 students, giving you the chance to make a tangible difference in each learner’s journey.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license required
  • Experience supporting K-12 students in a school-based setting is preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish speakers encouraged to apply
  • Must complete or have fingerprints verified through the Texas Education Agency (allow up to 10 business days for results)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy to students under the supervision of a certified SLP, adhering to individualized education plans
  • Document progress, maintain session notes, and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student goals
