Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Florence, Kentucky

Make a meaningful impact in education as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist, working full time with K-12 students. This role covers the full academic year, beginning in mid-August and running through June 1st. Ideal candidates should have expertise supporting students in a school-based environment and be comfortable working with a range of needs and age groups.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) will also be considered
• Previous experience in pediatric or school-based speech therapy is highly valued
• Solid understanding of the IEP process and ability to participate in goal setting and progress monitoring
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with a diverse population of students and comfort supporting K-12th grade

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students both individually and in group sessions
• Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Collaborate with educators, school counselors, and families to ensure student success
• Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and required reports
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise on communication disorders
