Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Prior experience working in schools or with school-aged children
- Familiarity with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) interventions and strategies
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEP)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with a focus on those diagnosed with ASD
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student learning
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and maintain timely documentation
- Provide regular progress updates and adapt strategies as needed
- Engage in ongoing communication with families and staff to maximize student success
