Job Description
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting preschool students with speech and language needs in a vibrant educational setting near Thousand Oaks, CA. This full-time position runs from ASAP through June 17, 2026, providing vital services for young learners ages 3-5 across multiple school sites. With a manageable caseload of up to 50 students and another SLP onsite for collaboration, you’ll be part of a supportive and resourceful team. The school partners closely to address students’ needs and also has ongoing occupational therapy services.
Key Qualifications:
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology (CFY, CCC, or Assistant level)
- Experience in schools or healthcare settings with preschool populations preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is beneficial
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Passion for collaborating with families and educational teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy and interventions for preschool students with speech and language needs
- Collaborate with an onsite SLP for shared caseload management and creative problem-solving
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and contribute to IEP meetings as required
- Communicate closely with educators, OTs, and families to maximize support strategies
- Deliver services in person and, as needed, via teletherapy
- Maintain detailed, compliant documentation
- Support a diverse caseload across multiple campuses
