Staff Pharmacist - Granite City, IL

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Sunday: Emergency orders only, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (on-call)
• On-call pay at $8 per hour when responding on Sundays

Location:

• Granite City, IL

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill, check, verify, and dispense prescriptions in compliance with regulations.
• Provide professional counseling to patients regarding medication usage and safety.
• Manage retail pharmacy operations, maintaining high standards of service quality.
• Respond efficiently to emergency orders on Sundays as needed.

Qualifications:

• Illinois Pharmacy License is required.
• PharmD degree preferred.
• Experience with PioneerRx pharmacy system is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with pharmacy team members.
