Position Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Laboratory Director & Vice President - Translational & Computational Pathology to lead pathology strategy, assay development, and clinical laboratory operations supporting precision medicine and companion diagnostics. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in image-based pathology assay development, clinical and analytical validation, and translational pathology, with experience leading cross-functional teams in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead image-based pathology assay development and clinical/analytical validation.

· Provide scientific and operational leadership for translational and computational pathology programs.

· Support companion diagnostics, biomarker development, and regulatory submissions.

· Collaborate with R&D, Clinical, Bioinformatics, and Regulatory teams.

· Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and FDA standards.

Required Qualifications

· MD/DO with Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP).

· Extensive experience leading image-based clinical and analytical validation.

· Strong background in translational pathology, companion diagnostics (CDx), and pathology laboratory leadership.

Preferred Experience

· Plasma-based biomarker or liquid biopsy assay development.

· Immunofluorescence (IF)-based assay validation.

· Digital Pathology, Computational Pathology, and Whole-Slide Imaging (WSI).

· AI-assisted pathology, spatial biology, and multiplex tissue imaging.
