Position Summary:

The Industrial Painter is responsible for preparing trailer surfaces, applying primer and paint coatings, and ensuring a high-quality finish on cargo trailers. This role works in a manufacturing environment and requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently on a production schedule.

Job Duties:

• Prepare trailer surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas prior to painting

• Apply primer, paint, and protective coatings using spray equipment

• Inspect surfaces to ensure proper coverage and quality standards are met

• Maintain and clean paint equipment, spray guns, and work areas

• Follow safety procedures when handling paints, chemicals, and equipment

• Assist with moving trailers or parts within the production area as needed

• Perform touch-ups or rework to ensure a professional finished product

• Work with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals

Skills Needed:

• Experience using paint spray guns, brushes, or rollers in a manufacturing or industrial setting

• Knowledge of paint mixing, color matching, and surface preparation techniques

• Ability to follow safety protocols when working with chemicals and equipment

• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work

• Physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods

• Teamwork and good communication skills
