Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) - Office Coordinator

Job Type: Full-Time (Part-Time candidates may also be considered)

Location: LaVale, Maryland

Patient Population

· Primarily Lower Extremity Prosthetics

· Upper Extremity Prosthetics

· General Orthotics

· Minimal spinal orthotics

· Diverse patient demographics

Patient Volume

· Approximately 6-10 patients per day

· Around 45-50 patient appointments per week

Schedule

· Monday-Friday

· Office Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

· Clinicians typically arrive by 7:45 AM

· Average work week: Approximately 45 hours

· No mandatory weekends

· No after-hours on-call responsibilities

Travel Requirements

· Primary office located in LaVale, MD.

· Local travel to nearby hospitals and healthcare facilities is required.

· Travel to the main office is required for initial training and occasional meetings.

· Hotel accommodations are provided during training

· Mileage reimbursement is provided.

· No home health visits.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

· Evaluate, measure, cast, fit, adjust, and repair prosthetic and orthotic devices.

· Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician prescriptions and patient goals.

· Provide follow-up care, adjustments, repairs, and ongoing patient education.

· Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor's or Master's Degree (as required).

· Current ABC Certification in Orthotics & Prosthetics in good standing.

· Minimum 1 year of post-certification experience required.

· 3+ years of experience preferred.

· Ability to work independently in a satellite office with virtual leadership support.

· Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

· Experience with OPIE is a plus.

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
