Job Description
Make a meaningful difference for students in grades K-4 as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a supportive, collaborative environment. You’ll work with elementary-aged students, including those in specialized autism support programs, providing direct therapy and fostering communication growth that shapes each child’s future.
Enjoy a flexible daily schedule tailored to morning or afternoon coverage, with shifts that range between 7:30 am–4:00 pm or 8:00 am–4:30 pm. Your primary site is focused on K-4 autism support, with the potential for an occasional day at the middle or high school—but all buildings are conveniently located on a single campus to support seamless collaboration and ease of travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy targeting articulation, language, and AAC device use
- Conduct progress monitoring and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for a holistic approach
- Complete standardized assessments and evaluations, interpreting data for student success
- Develop and implement IEP goals and provide case management for students with speech-only IEPs
- Offer indirect support through observation, consultation, and team-based planning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and current CCC-SLP certification required
- Experience working with elementary students and/or autism support programs highly desirable
- Knowledge of AAC devices and adaptive communication strategies
- Commitment to professional collaboration and student-centered care
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
