Job Description
Step into a rewarding speech-language role supporting elementary-aged students for an extended contract that runs through May 2027. This is an incredible opportunity for both experienced SLPs and strong Clinical Fellows (CFYs) interested in working within a vibrant, supportive school environment near West Point, GA.
In this essential position, you’ll work hands-on with students to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders, making a direct, positive impact each day.
What you bring:
- Active Georgia SLP license (GA SLP credentials required)
- CCC-SLP certification or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status
- Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Passion for working with elementary-age children
- Strong collaborative mindset for working with teachers, staff, and parents
What you’ll do:
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy for students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with educators, staff, and families to support each child’s needs
- Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and student support initiatives
What you can expect:
- Contract position starting as soon as possible and extending through May 21, 2027
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours/week, Monday-Friday
- Work primarily with elementary students in a school-based setting
- Pay for this opportunity ranges from $45-$50 per hour, paid weekly
