Job Description

This contract position offers the opportunity to foster language development, promote positive social interactions, and help students reach their full academic potential. You’ll work a consistent 37.5 hours each week, providing crucial speech and language services within a collaborative school environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Current, valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
In this role, you’ll:
- Deliver individual and group therapy to students with a range of communication disorders
- Develop and implement IEP goals, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in eligibility and progress meetings
- Perform evaluations and re-evaluations; interpret assessment results for parents, teachers, and staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all regulations and timelines
- Serve as a resource for teachers and staff regarding language and communication strategies
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and motivating learning environment
