School Speech Language Pathologist - Olathe, Colorado

This contract position offers the opportunity to foster language development, promote positive social interactions, and help students reach their full academic potential. You’ll work a consistent 37.5 hours each week, providing crucial speech and language services within a collaborative school environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
• Current, valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs

In this role, you’ll:

• Deliver individual and group therapy to students with a range of communication disorders
• Develop and implement IEP goals, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in eligibility and progress meetings
• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations; interpret assessment results for parents, teachers, and staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all regulations and timelines
• Serve as a resource for teachers and staff regarding language and communication strategies
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and motivating learning environment
