Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience in a school setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Adaptable and committed to supporting students from varied backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Create and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Provide education and resources to students, parents, and staff regarding communication disorders
  • Engage in regular progress monitoring to ensure students meet their goals
