Ideal candidates possess:

  • An active state license or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or actively working toward it
  • Schools-based SLP experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds considered
  • Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct and consultative speech, language, and communication therapy to students
  • Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
  • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Maintaining up-to-date, compliant assessment and session documentation
  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student success
  • Attending IEP meetings and contributing expertise to multidisciplinary teams
