Key Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license, with experience working in a school-based setting
  • Proficiency with ESPED (IEP System) for managing student therapies and documentation
  • Strong organization and time management skills to ensure accurate weekly timelog submissions for time approval
  • Collaborative mindset for effective supervision of 2-3 COTAs and teamwork with district staff
  • Excellent communication skills to support families, teachers, and administrators

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations for students referred for occupational therapy services
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Supervise and mentor COTAs, ensuring high-quality delivery of services across the district
  • Travel between schools within a small district to deliver services as needed
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and submit weekly timelogs for hours worked
  • Participate in IEP meetings and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

This is a full-time contract role, totaling 37.5 hours per week, with responsibilities district-wide. School-based schedules mean you’ll enjoy regular hours, engaging work, and a chance to make a visible difference. Please note: time is approved only for hours present and on campus; time off during school breaks is unpaid.
