This contract role starts as soon as possible and extends through the end of the school year, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license, ready for immediate start
  • Experience in school-based, healthcare, or home health occupational therapy is strongly desired
  • Ability to support students’ development by collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with delivering services in group and individual settings, adapting techniques for diverse learning needs
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to supporting a positive, inclusive learning environment across various age groups

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide both direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high school
  • Design, implement, and track individualized therapy plans to address students’ developmental and academic goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations as part of the student support team
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to school-wide initiatives which may include screenings, staff training, and awareness campaigns
