This onsite assignment offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a collaborative school environment close to New Oxford, PA. Experience the fulfillment of a dedicated 1:1 role, helping a young learner thrive academically and socially throughout the 2026–2027 school year.

Your work week will be structured, totaling 35 hours with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 7:20 am to 2:10 pm, beginning August 19, 2026, and concluding June 2, 2027.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (required)
  • Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and skilled at interpreting in academic settings
  • Ability to support students with diverse learning needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive connections with students and educational staff
  • Commitment to providing clear, accurate, and confidential interpretation services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 sign language interpretation for a 5th-grade student in a Life Skills classroom
  • Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, and peers
