Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist working three days per week, supporting local students near Elizabeth, NJ. This assignment is set from 9/15-10/22, with the possibility of extension, making it an exciting fit for SLPs eager to make an impact in school-based settings.

In this role, you will collaborate with educators and families to ensure each student reaches their fullest communication potential. You’ll have the chance to utilize your expertise across evaluation, intervention, and collaboration, supporting pediatric caseloads in a positive school environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license in New Jersey or eligibility to obtain
  • CCC-SLP credential or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
  • Experience with pediatrics or schools preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services in alignment with IEP goals
  • Document student progress and maintain thorough records
  • Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support academic achievement
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Adjust interventions as needed to best serve each student’s unique profile
