Job Description
Make a direct impact supporting student communication and academic success as a full-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract basis. In this school-based role, you will work closely with students, educators, and families, providing essential therapeutic services and interventions to help every learner reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings
- Proficiency in assessment, intervention, and documentation for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, evidence-based speech-language therapy to a caseload of students in-person
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, multidisciplinary teams, and families to support student goals and classroom success
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input on student progress and accommodations
- Provide consultative support and resources for educators and caregivers
