Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Centralia, Washington
Job Description
Make a positive impact in the lives of children and adolescents by providing essential speech and language services in an engaging school environment. This full-time, contract position offers the chance to work with students from PreK through 12th grade over a four-day workweek, lending your expertise to support their success and communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Washington SLP License required
- Experience working in educational or healthcare settings preferred
- Proficient in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech/language disorders
- Comfortable serving a wide range of pediatric populations, including students with varied needs
- Open to applicants holding the CCC, CFY, or SLPA credentials
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in PreK-12, utilizing evidence-based practices
- Conduct evaluations, create individualized treatment plans, and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment
- Assist in developing and implementing IEPs in accordance with district and state requirements
- Adapt interventions and communication strategies to meet each student’s unique needs
- Participate in student support or multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
