Job Description
Embark on a rewarding assignment supporting students' developmental growth in a collaborative school environment. This full-time contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year and focuses on delivering physical therapy services within a district dedicated to providing comprehensive care to K-12 students. The position is onsite and serves a diverse caseload across multiple campuses, allowing you to make a meaningful impact throughout the district.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Washington or eligibility and willingness to obtain WA licensure
- Commitment to onsite work (no virtual or remote options)
- Ability to be fingerprinted through OSPI, or willingness to complete this process before starting
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred, though not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to a K-12 student caseload ranging from 25-30 students, district-wide
- Assess students’ abilities and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational teams
- Document student progress and communicate effectively with families and school staff
- Educate staff and caregivers on techniques and equipment to enhance student participation and learning
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
