Step into a pivotal role supporting early learners by providing essential speech-language services as a full-time SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist, CCC required) for a maternity leave coverage assignment in a vibrant early intervention and preschool setting. Your expertise will help shape communication skills for children ages 3-5 with a range of needs, from articulation to complex AAC. This contract position runs from February 15, 2027, through May 27, 2027, offering the chance to impact young students during a crucial period of growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • State licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • Previous experience with preschool/early intervention strongly preferred
  • Background working with articulation, expressive/receptive language, fluency disorders, social-pragmatic communication, and high-tech AAC devices
  • Comfortable serving students with needs ranging from mild to severe
  • Must provide in-person services; remote and hybrid options are not available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy to preschool-aged students focusing on speech, language, fluency, and functional communication
  • Complete assessments, develop IEP goals, and track student progress
  • Collaborate closely with an experienced on-site SLP and early learning classroom staff
  • Provide support for a diverse caseload including students utilizing augmentative and alternative communication
  • Participate in team meetings and family conferences as needed
