This travel nursing role is ideal for a skilled Registered Nurse experienced in Stepdown and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) environments. Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in Stepdown and PCU units
- Closely monitor patient condition and collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Administer medications and perform therapeutic procedures accurately
- Educate patients and families about ongoing treatment plans
- Maintain thorough and timely charting in compliance with policy and regulation
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina or compact state eligibility
- Minimum of one year experience in Stepdown and/or PCU environments
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
- Experience with advanced monitors and EHR systems preferred
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel contract; full-time shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays as needed

$1,960 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
