In this full-time, onsite role, you’ll work with a diverse group of young learners, supporting their academic, emotional, and behavioral growth. Your insights and interventions will be integral to fostering a positive educational experience for both students and the broader school community.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Illinois School Psychologist licensure (required)
- Demonstrated experience working with middle school students preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Develop intervention strategies in collaboration with educators and families
- Participate in student support and individualized education plan (IEP) meetings
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support as needed
- Serve as a resource for faculty on student mental health and behavioral concerns
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
