Position Details

  • Setting: Public school district

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday during school hours

  • Contract Length: Full school year

  • Student Population: Pre-K through High School (based on assignment)

  • Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals

  • Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services

  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, psychologists, OTs, PTs, and families

  • Maintain timely and compliant documentation

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

  • Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, AAC, and social communication needs

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Active CA SLP License

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply

  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
