Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based position in Wilmington, NC for the 2026–2027 school year. This role focuses on supporting an elementary student population, helping students strengthen communication skills that contribute to academic, social, and developmental success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Address communication needs including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication disorders
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in IEP meetings and support student achievement goals

Qualifications

  • Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
