Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license (Texas)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based environment preferred
- Understanding of IEPs, assessment procedures, and progress monitoring
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
- Deliver therapy services in group and one-on-one settings
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and services provided
- Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to reinforce strategies
- Stay current on best practices and participate in continuing education
