What we’re seeking:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in Connecticut (or eligibility)
- Prior experience in a K-12 school setting is highly preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable conducting assessments, providing direct therapy, and consulting with educational staff
In this position, you will:
- Deliver dynamic speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP requirements
- Perform assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment
