Key Qualifications:

  • Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Proven experience delivering therapy in educational settings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and staff
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based speech, language, and communication therapy to students
  • Develop tailored treatment goals and document progress, ensuring compliance with IEPs and district regulations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with educators and families to promote student success
  • Provide screenings, evaluations, and intervention services in alignment with school policies
  • Maintain clear and thorough records, preparing reports and updates as required
