What we're seeking:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience with elementary-level students, particularly within grades 3–5
• Familiarity with ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) methodologies, preferred but not required
• Comfort and versatility working in self-contained classroom settings
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with other educators, therapists, and families
• Flexibility as caseloads and classroom assignments are being finalized

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) that address students’ unique strengths and challenges
• Delivering engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to diverse learning needs
• Cultivating a structured, positive classroom climate where every student feels supported and respected
• Collaborating regularly with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching strategies as needed for academic and behavioral growth
• Maintaining accurate documentation, staying compliant with state and federal regulations
