Working as a contract School Psychologist in the Minneapolis area offers a unique chance to make a profound impact across K-12 settings. This flexible opportunity welcomes both full-time and part-time applicants, including those interested in hybrid arrangements—all within standard school hours of 8 AM to 4 PM. You’ll facilitate positive outcomes by delivering critical assessment, intervention, and mental health supports that shape the school experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, or equivalent credentials
  • Valid Minnesota school psychologist license from PELSB
  • Demonstrated dedication to equity, culturally responsive practices, and inclusive service delivery
  • Deep understanding of evidence-based school psychology methods, including assessment and mental health support

Preferred Background:

  • National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or eligible
  • Practical experience providing consultation and intervention within an MTSS framework
  • Proven leadership, facilitation, and the ability to support and influence adult learners
  • Knowledge of crisis prevention and intervention, as well as mental health supports within a school context
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills—capable of building trust across diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Strong grasp of federal and state special education laws and compliance
  • Experience working in urban, multicultural educational environments
