Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with children or in a classroom setting

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs throughout the school day
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to students under the direction of the classroom teacher
  • Assist with classroom activities, instruction, and organization of materials
  • Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) or 504 plans as needed
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teaching team
  • Foster an inclusive, respectful, and encouraging learning environment
  • Support students with special needs in both academic and social contexts
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and orderly classroom
