Speech Language Pathologist in Berryville, VA

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ growth and communication skills in a vibrant educational setting. We’re seeking a dedicated speech-language pathologist (SLP) to make a meaningful impact throughout the school year. This position runs from July 27th, 2026, through May 28th, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours. Located in a collaborative school community near Berryville, VA, you’ll work closely with educators and families to foster success for students across various grade levels.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Current and valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathology license (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience delivering speech and language services in a school-based environment
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to organize and deliver both group and one-on-one interventions
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
• Provide direct therapy services within the school environment
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress notes, and compliance requirements
• Educate school staff and families on strategies and accommodations to support student communication
