\nBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a First-Line Fabrication Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to support the Emergent Operations Team based out of Auburn, Washington on 2nd shift.
\n\nAs a member of the Leadership team, you will continuously lead and develop Manufacturing Teams. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate a One BPS culture, driving a deep understanding of the One BPS principles, standards, production health and problem-solving model.

Leads, develops, and motivates employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines

Develops and implements business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
\n - \n
Promote employee engagement and build an organizational culture that fosters safety and quality performance, improves employee satisfaction and retains and develops a skilled and motivated workforce

Forecasts resource needs, obtains and manages personnel, facilities, equipment, and training and tools to meet operating requirements
\n - \n
Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process Improvements
\n - \n
Develops and upholds relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners and direct reports
\n - \n
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
\n

\n\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
\n- \n

3+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
\n - \n
Experience driving improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, innovation and people on production and development programs
\n - \n
Experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills with leadership and colleagues in an operations environment
\n

- \n
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership.”
\n
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience);

Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

Familiarization and utilization of lean tools and principles

Strong digital literacy including proficiency using Microsoft suite

Emotional intelligence and resilience

Hands on manufacturing/machining experience
