\nSalary: $32 -$49 per hour, based on individual skills, certifications, education, and experience\n

\nHours of work: 7:00 a.m.–3:00 or 3:30 p.m.; Monday through Friday\n

\nWe're looking for a Diesel Engine Technician to join our Engine Shop. In this role, you'll diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain medium- and heavy-duty trucks while working with some of the best technicians in the industry. You'll also have opportunities to mentor teammates, lead projects, and continue growing your career.\n
\n
\nWhat You'll Do - No two days are the same!\n
\n
\nYour responsibilities will include:\n
\n
\nDiagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty diesel engines and related systems.\n
\nPerform complete engine and transmission rebuilds.\n
\nComplete preventative maintenance and major mechanical repairs.\n
\nAccurately document repairs and diagnostic findings.\n
\nCommunicate with Parts and Service teams to ensure repairs stay on schedule.\n
\nIdentify additional maintenance or safety concerns for customers.\n
\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\n
\nFollow manufacturer repair procedures and dealership standards.\n
\nStay current on OEM technical bulletins and industry best practices.\n
\nMentor apprentice technicians and help lead the team when needed.\n
\n
\nWhat We're Looking For - We're searching for someone who enjoys solving problems and takes pride in delivering quality work.\n
\n
\nQualifications\n
\n
\n3-5+ years of diesel diagnostic experience (10+ years preferred)\n
\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n
\nValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (CDL is a plus)\n
\nCummins Engine Repair Certification (Required)\n
\nMaster Technician certifications in multiple areas preferred\n
\nASE Certifications are a plus\n
\nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills\n
\nIntermediate computer skills, including proficiency with email, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and the ability to learn and use dealership management and diagnostic software\n
\nExcellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills\n
\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\n
\n

\nPhysical Requirements\n
\n
\nThis position requires the ability to:\n
\n
\nLift up to 50 lbs. regularly, 75 lbs. frequently, and over 100 lbs. occasionally with assistance or appropriate equipment.\n
\nStand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the workday.\n
\nSafely operate hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and shop equipment.\n
\nWork above shoulder height and underneath vehicles using creepers or lifting equipment.\n
\nEnter and exit truck cabs and access engine compartments safely.\n
\n
