Gastroenterologist Is Needed for Locums Coverage in VA

Key Responsibilities- Conduct procedures on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; see office patients on Tuesdays.
- Participate in night call every evening, including hospital rounds for consults.
- Manage a patient load of 20 to 25 per shift.
- Perform upper and lower GI endoscopies with biopsy as a requirement.
- Conduct PEG and esophageal dilatation procedures.
- Provide care for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Handle 1 to 2 call consults every 24 hours.
- Potential for ongoing coverage opportunities.
