Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an SLP in California and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous supervision experience is a plus, but mentorship training and support will be provided
- Ability to provide virtual supervision and feedback effectively
- Strong understanding of school-based speech therapy needs and IEP compliance
- Open to SLPs with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or those fully credentialed
Responsibilities:
- Oversee, mentor, and provide clinical guidance to an onsite SLPA working with K-12 students
- Review and consult on student cases, contributing to assessment planning and therapy strategies
- Ensure adherence to best practices, ethical guidelines, and district policies
- Conduct regular virtual check-ins, observations, and feedback sessions with the SLPA
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student progress and facilitate effective communication across the team
- Maintain accurate supervision documentation and participate in virtual meetings as needed
