Enhance student communication and support learning outcomes by providing specialized speech-language services within an educational setting. This contract-based opportunity near Fruitland, MD, allows a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to supervise an SLPA and directly impact a caseload of 20 students.

Your expertise will be used to foster communication skills essential to students’ success, whether you choose onsite or hybrid work to ensure effective SLPA oversight. This role spans the academic school year, from August 17, 2026, through June 14, 2027, and offers a flexible schedule of 20–25 hours per week.

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

  • Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Maryland Teaching Certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued
  • Strong supervisory skills to mentor and guide an SLPA
  • Well-developed communication, organization, and collaboration abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 20 students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Supervise an SLPA, supporting professional growth and quality of care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and session notes
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning
  • Adapt therapy approaches as needed for onsite or hybrid supervision
