Preferred Background and Experience
- Washington State SLP License required
- Experience in school-based pediatric speech-language pathology preferred
- Accepting applicants with SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA experience
- Proficiency working with children in PreK–12th grade
- Knowledge of both educational and healthcare SLP practices is a plus
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide necessary documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure student success
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Offer consultation and training to staff and families to promote best practices in communication support
