To excel in this role, you will need:
• An active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (SLP-CCC required)
• Clinical experience in schools, preferably working with preschool populations
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility in managing caseloads—the number of students is to be determined
• Dedication to onsite services only, ensuring hands-on support for students and colleagues
Key responsibilities include:
• Planning and conducting speech and language therapy sessions for preschoolers
• Evaluating students’ communication skills and documenting progress
• Collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff for integrated care
• Developing individualized education program (IEP) goals and monitoring growth
• Maintaining compliance with all regulations and best practices in school-based therapy
