Step into a rewarding opportunity impacting students’ daily lives as an Occupational Therapist in the greater Seattle area. Two contract positions are currently available, serving K-12th grade students in diverse and supportive environments.

Available Assignments:

  • 0.8 FTE Occupational Therapist located in South Seattle, working the full academic year from August 28 to June 18.
  • 1.0 FTE Occupational Therapist in Southwest Seattle, beginning January 4th and continuing through the end of the school year.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active OT license in Washington State
  • Experience in school settings preferred, specifically delivering therapy services to K-12 populations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students
  • Strong documentation and organizational abilities
  • Flexibility and adaptability within a school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine students' needs for occupational therapy
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans supporting students’ academic and functional success
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and support staff
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare required reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations
  • Support students in developing fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, and self-help skills
