Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Current, active Occupational Therapist license in the State of Illinois
  • Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Comfort with short-term assignments and adaptability to varying needs
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented approach with the enthusiasm to collaborate on educational plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students
  • Assess, develop, and implement customized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and staff
  • Document progress and maintain thorough records for each student
  • Participate in IEP meetings and support goal setting for student success
  • Offer consultative recommendations to classroom teachers for accommodations and modifications
