School Psychologist – 2026–2027 School Year

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join a supportive school district for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, onsite position is located in Chester, PA and serves a high school caseload, focusing primarily on evaluations, assessments, and collaboration with educational teams.

The ideal candidate is an experienced school psychologist who thrives in an urban educational setting and is committed to supporting students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success through comprehensive evaluations and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Position Details
Pay: $45–$55/hour (based on experience)
Location: Chester, PA
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Hours: 35 hours per week
Work Hours: 7:15 AM – 2:45 PM
Student Age Range: High School
Primary Focus: Evaluations and Assessments
School Year Dates: August 24, 2026 – June 10, 2027
Primary Responsibilities
Conduct initial and reevaluation psychoeducational assessments
Complete comprehensive evaluation reports and required documentation
Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
Support special education compliance and evaluation timelines
Assist with intervention planning, progress monitoring, and data review
Promote positive student outcomes through collaborative problem-solving
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania School Psychologist certification/licensure required
Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Pennsylvania clearances
Previous school-based experience required
Experience working in an urban school setting required
Strong assessment, report writing, and consultation skills
Reliable transportation required
Must be available to work onsite five full days per week between 7:15 AM and 2:45 PM
