What we’re seeking:
- Current teaching certification in General Education (out-of-state licenses welcome, provided reciprocity can be secured prior to the August start date)
- Previous experience teaching elementary students, ideally in a 4th grade classroom
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Adaptability, openness to travel, and a willingness to embrace new teaching experiences
- Proficiency in designing and delivering lessons across core subjects, including math, reading, science, and social studies
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating effective lesson plans and adapting instruction to meet each student’s needs
- Delivering dynamic instruction in all core subject areas for 4th graders
- Administering assessments to monitor academic progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborating with colleagues and engaging with families to support student growth
- Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
