Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic school setting near Stephens City, VA. This position begins July 27th, 2026, and continues through May 28th, 2027, offering a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. You’ll be an essential part of a collaborative team, helping students reach their full communication potential in the upcoming school year.
Required Qualifications:
- Current, valid Virginia SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt to varying student needs and work effectively within school teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to K-12 students
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and provide therapy sessions
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student progress
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive educational environment
- Provide resources, strategies, and training to staff and parents as needed
