Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Valid state Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor SLPAs effectively
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Comfortable working virtually and utilizing telepractice platforms
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision and support to an onsite SLPA, including feedback, training, and ongoing guidance
- Oversee implementation of individualized education program (IEP) goals as related to speech and language services
- Maintain regular communication with SLPA, school staff, and other related service providers to ensure cohesive student support
- Complete supervisory documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
- Engage in virtual meetings with school personnel as necessary
- Consult with parents and caregivers, addressing questions regarding student progress and strategies
- Ensure compliance with all ethical, legal, and procedural requirements for telepractice and school-based services
