Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting a junior high caseload as an ARD Facilitator and Special Education Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact, collaborating with students, families, and educators to provide specialized instruction and streamline ARD processes. You’ll work 40 hours per week, assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs to ensure the success of every student.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching certification required
  • Prior experience as an ARD Facilitator and Special Education Teacher strongly preferred
  • Strong foundational knowledge of special education law, ARD/IEP processes, and documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a junior high caseload
  • Collaborative mindset—ready to work closely with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet strict deadlines

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate ARD meetings in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Serve as a point of contact for parents and staff regarding ARD/IEP matters
  • Work with the multidisciplinary team to craft and monitor individualized education plans
  • Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social success within an inclusive environment
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare necessary documentation
  • Provide guidance and training for staff on special education best practices
