Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Illinois Occupational Therapist license (required)
• Proven experience as an OT in a school setting
• Demonstrated expertise in supporting students at the high school level
• Ability to work independently; COTAs not considered for this role
• Skilled in conducting evaluations, developing individualized intervention plans, and collaborating with educators and families
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver onsite occupational therapy services to high school students, addressing functional, sensory, and academic needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student support
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and access to learning
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and outcomes in compliance with school policies
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, helping students achieve their fullest potential
