Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid and active state licensure in California for SLP
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but strong clinical skills and passion for working with children are equally valued
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
- Maintain detailed and timely progress notes and documentation
- Contribute expertise during IEP meetings and provide input for ongoing student needs
- Participate in staff development sessions and professional learning opportunities
