Franciscan Care Center is seeking a compassionate, creative, and experienced Life Enrichment Coordinator to lead programs that support the physical, mental, psychosocial, and spiritual well-being of our residents.

Located in Toledo, Franciscan Care Center provides skilled nursing and rehabilitation services in a welcoming, home-like setting. Rooted in the Franciscan tradition of compassionate, quality care, our team works together to enhance the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.

In this leadership role, you will guide the overall operations of the Life Enrichment Department and develop engaging programs based on residents individual interests, needs, and comprehensive assessments. The ideal candidate is an organized and collaborative leader who understands the importance of creating meaningful experiences for older adults.

What Youll Do

• Develops and implements the Life Enrichment Departments programs and budgets.
• Plans, develops, coordinates, and evaluates a diversified activities program seven days a week, including evenings and weekends.
• Maintains current knowledge of facility policies and procedures and operates the Life Enrichment Program in compliance with all regulatory and accrediting standards.
• Ensures appropriate staffing by conducting interviews, hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising employees.
• Prepares employee performance evaluations and initiates promotion, transfer, and termination.
• Conducts staff meetings.
• Oversees and directs resident activities and schedules.
• Actively participates in Performance Improvement.
• Satisfies all educational in-service requirements mandated by CHI Living Communities, the department, external accrediting, and regulatory agencies.
